Curly Baker Canada was born from a deep love of flavour, craft, and a lifelong obsession with cookies. After years in the corporate world, our founder traded boardroom tables for mixing bowls — swapping spreadsheets for dough, and meetings for midnight test batches.
What began as a simple passion has grown into a focused pursuit: creating bold, oversized cookies made with premium ingredients and patience. Each cookie is carefully crafted, baked in small batches, and designed to deliver big flavour, rich texture, and just a hint of Viking mischief.
The Viking helmet in our logo reflects more than a playful nod — it represents family roots and Scandinavian traditions where food was made with intention, shared generously, and never done halfway. That mindset still guides everything we bake today: cookies that are forged with care, built boldly, and meant to be enjoyed together.

His raids are no longer for gold or glory, but for butter, sugar, and the perfect cookie. Every morning, he enters his warm, golden bakery to make cookies the air filled with his booming laugh that could melt butter faster than fire.

With a whisk in one hand and words in the other, Alfred guides the Curly Baker crew through the realms of creativity, storytelling, and cookie strategy. He’s part strategist, part bard — ensuring every Viking cookie tale is told with precision, heart, and a touch of golden humour. When the ovens glow and the ideas rise, Alfred is there — the unseen baker behind the words, bringing order to the glorious cookie chaos.

Born from a magical batch of dough left overnight during a full moon, Bun sprang to life in a burst of yeast and joy. Since that day, Bun has followed the Curly Baker everywhere — fetching spoons, guarding cookies, and occasionally sneaking a nibble of dough when no one’s looking. Together, they form the heart of the bakery’s legend: a duo bound by sugar, courage, and the occasional kitchen catastrophe.
